Customer's Fault Description
Seems to only work reliably on the Up channel - won’t go Down.
Receiver only intermittently receives the Down channel.
(From memory, but it may be the Up channel rather than Down that is a problem!)
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Gas Fire remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote was found to not transmit on one channel.
When opened there was corrosion over one of the main ICs in the handset, the IC was replaced and the PCB cleared of contaminants.
This restored full functionality.
No fault was found with the receiver.
