Customers Fault Description : Connection to battery and back cover

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote arrived safely and on inspection the battery cable was damaged and the aerial as found to have been soldered to the existing clip.

Unfortunately there was a large mass of corrosion under the display (See image).  The battery cable was replaced but the item remained dead.  Due to the damage a repair is sadly not possible
