Arcam Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Arcam
Customers Fault Description : This has been stored for some time but was working with an Arcam Alpha 10 DAB tuner (which works fine still!). However, now the remote makes no contact with the tuner at all and the tuner appears not to recognise it. Have loaded fresh batteries (it was stored empty) but still no joy. I would obviously send it to you securely packaged but with or without batteries?
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This CR289 Remote Control arrived safely and on testing was foudn ot be transmitting on all button as per normal operation.
The control was opened to check for defects but no issues could be found.
The controller was then tested over a 24 hour period at random intervals with no fault being found.
It is possible that the issue is the IR receiver itself.
