Dometic Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Dometic
Customers Fault Description : My caravan has 2 x skylights, which operate from individual remote controls providing the up and down operation only unfortunately both remotes no longer open the 2 x skylights. Can you please test at repair both remote controls
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
These two Caravan roof skylight remotes arrived safely and on testing one weas found to function as normal but the battery terminals were slightly bad in conductivity. The terminals were re-plated using SCP, we are not charging for the repair to this remote.
The second remote was found to be dead, this was due to a tiny break in the print near the IR LED, this was reworked which restored full functionality. The terminals were also re-plated using SCP.
