Customers Fault Description : No Lights on, and no response from Extractor
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely and on inspection the fixing screws were irregular due to broken mounting holes. Spare cases cannot be provided as spares are not available.
On testing all buttons except the top one was illuminating with a very weak signal.
On opening there was corrosion in the print from contamination around the top button (see image). The print was reworked and the button replaced which restored functionality. A replacement Duracell battery was also fitted as the original was low.
