The remote control is broken from the inside. The battery is relatively new and should work.

High Tech Repair

The on off red button does not work. Therefore the other buttons dont work either. I opened the battery to find corrosion inside the battery section. The batteries I changed and were new. Thank you.

Celebrity Repair

The button that doesn't work is the bottom left when chair reclines and feet go up. It did use to work but you had to press the button with much pressure. Other buttons work fine.

Wires from electric motor to handset.... Some have pulled out of remote so it is no longer able to work

Remote has power and function (all buttons work), but no longer communicates button presses to the shower digital mixer unit (turning on/off, temp up down etc). Looking at the pcb I can see something on the comms board has spewed it's guts. Let me know if you would like a pic before I send remote.

Mertik Maxitrol G6R-R4AN Repair

Either the remote control and / or receiver are faulty. The bulb on the remote does light when buttons are pressed although it flickers slightly. I suspect therefore that the issue is with the receiver box.

Button for raising to have your feet up will no longer work. We used to be able to press it hard and it would do it. The other buttons work, but as my Husband needs to have his legs up we cannot get it to work now. Also the cable ner the remote has been worn away and my son tried to cover it for safety, just wondered if this also could be looked at.

BSSB Repair
