Customer's Fault Description
Remote has power and function (all buttons work), but no longer communicates button presses to the shower digital mixer unit (turning on/off, temp up down etc). Looking at the pcb I can see something on the comms board has spewed it's guts. Let me know if you would like a pic before I send remote.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Shower Remote Control arrived safely and on testing was found to not transmit an RF signal.
On opening the Oscillator was found to be detached from one end (see image).
This was soldered firmly into place which restored full functionality with a strong RF signal present on each button press.
