Customers Fault Description : damaged wire needs replacing

This recliner remote arrived safely and on inspection the cable was found to be damaged.
The remote was opened and a replacement straight cable fitted.
Unfortunately there is a small chip out of the case at the top / back (see image), this happens occasionally as the remote is required to be broken apart. It has been glued back together but spare cases are not available.
