Customer's Fault Description
THe RF remote for my built in Flamerite fireplace does not work at all. The buttons do not do anything and the screen is not working
The remote model number is Flamerite
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fire remote control arrived safely and on testing was intermittently powered. The Button cell holder was found to have broken away from one of its solder points, this is usually done when replacing the battery incorrectly.
The housing was soldered back into position which restored full functionality.
A set of batteries will be supplied fitted on return.
