Arcam CDS50 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Battery leakage, possible damaged battery PCB

This Arcam remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.
When opened unfortunately there was a large amount of corrosion to the print caused by a battery leak (see image). This was around and under the main IC. Unfortunately, due to the damage a repair is not possible.
