Customer's Fault Description
The remote control no longer controls the gas fire. I have changed the batteries and it still does not work. I can control the fire from the built in control panel on the fireplace - so it seems to be a problem with communication between the remote and the fire. I can't tell whether it is the remote or the receiver on the fire that is causing the problem.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fire remote control arrioved safely and on testing was found to be transmitting as per normal on each button press (see image).
The remote was tested over a 24 hour period at random intervals with no fault being found.
