Customer's Fault Description
Hello,
I cannot get the remote to power up despite trying to change the batteries twice. The screen is black. Can you please help.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Heating controller arrived safely and on testing was foudn to power up as per normal operation. The remote was tested over a 24-hour period with no faults being replicated.
It is possible that the customers batteries were inserted incorrectly as the battery compartment in these remotes are quite misleading. The spring terminals at the bottom of the remote makes people think that all batteries go the same way. This is not the case, they alternate. please see the image bellow for the correct battery orientation.
