Celebrity Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Celebrity
Customers Fault Description : I bought the chair second hand.The previous owner had repaired it by cutting into the cable about an inch under the controler and pulled the snapped light red wire out and taping it together. I didn't know this till it broke. I have repaired it twice but the wire has broken more and will no longer reach. My mother's chair is now stuck with the footrest up.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This recliner remote control arrived safely and on inspection the cable was damaged and almost all of the fixing screw holes for the screws were damaged due to being forced open prior to arrival with us.
A replacement straight cable was fitted (we cannot get the curly kind) and then the case was glued together. The rest of the remote was tested as ok.
