Customer's Fault Description
"Volume+" not very responsive. "Volume-" not very responsive but more so than "Volume +" I did open it up and you can see the "Volume+", "Volume-" and "Mute" contacts are wearing out. Could you also check the others and replace if there is any wear. Many thanks
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Audio Visual Amp remote control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have non functioning Mute and volume buttons.

This was due to contaminated contacts that had decomposed the conductive material.  Replacement conductive pads were glued under the buttons which restored full functionality.  All other buttons were tested as ok.
