Customer's Fault Description
Mertik Maxitrol G6R-H4T5-GA remote control used for Gazco fire is faulty. The black wire that connects to the battery terminal is broken. It was previously soldered but didn’t work for long before breaking again. Not sure if the red wire is also now faulty but remote doesn’t work. Last time it did the fire went on then we couldn’t turn it off which was dangerous and had to cut gas off at the mains. Hoping you can repair this somehow. Thanks
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection was dead from a badly damaged battery cable. A replacement battery cable was fitted which restored full functionality.
