Mertik Maxitrol G6R-H4T5-GA Repair
Mertik Maxitrol G6R-H4T5-GA remote control used for Gazco fire is faulty. The black wire that connects to the battery terminal is broken. It was previously soldered but didn’t work for long before breaking again. Not sure if the red wire is also now faulty but remote doesn’t work. Last time it did the fire went on then we couldn’t turn it off which was dangerous and had to cut gas off at the mains. Hoping you can repair this somehow. Thanks

Mertek Maxitrol G30-ZRHTT-Z27 Repair
Remote appears to be operating continuously even though no buttons are pressed and the antenna graphic is not showing on the LCD screen. The battery is drained very rapidly (new one put in, BATT indication within 2 days). Also remote appears to be getting hot inside: it's reading on the screen much higher than we know the room temperature to be.

Remote operates “up†button with constant red light showing on both remote and receiver units. The “down†button produces steady red on the remote but rarely shows anything on the receiver (and when it does it is intermittent). Changing batteries in both units does not change the position.
