Customer's Fault Description
I purchased the Gazco PR8456 at a local auction unused in mint condition in box but the remote doesnt appear to work (nothing on led dispaly. I was wondering if when you take the remote apart you can do it as carefully as possible, so I can maybe still sell it as new :)
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.
There were two issues present, the battery cable was open circuit and also there was a crack in the print (see image). The battery cable was replaced and the crack reworked which restored full functionality.
