Mertik maxitrol Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : After changing batteries ready for winter, the receiver isn’t working. I assume it’s the receiver as the remote led shines when buttons are pressed, but not the receiver led. All worked fine throughout last winter!
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remoter and receiver arrived safely and on testing the handset was found to not transmit a signal. This was due to a faulty transducer in the remote control itself. Once the transducer was replaced full functionality was restored.
No fault was found with the receiver.
