Customer's Fault Description
The lights on buttons come on. Press the button and nothing happens. Initially,it would overun. The cable possibly has a break in it.where it connects to the hand set. I can see this, possibly shorting. The remote buttons light up but when pressed nothing happens. Before some times if cable is disconnected from the handset it would work. But now just the buttons ĺigĥt up.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection was confirmed to have a faulty cable. The cable was open circuit with physical damage at one end (see image).
A straight flat black cable was supplied (we are unable to get the curly grey kind)
