Customer's Fault Description
The On/Off button is not working - possibly a loose connection? The battery terminals are slightly corroded. The IR light cover is missing.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection the IR cover was missing.
Wehn tested the remote was dead.
On opening the display was found to have damaged to it (see image) and there were signs of a battery leak with corroded terminals.
The terminals were reworked which restored power, but the display is missing parts of its digits, due to the lack of spare screens a repair is not possible.
