Customer's Fault Description
Remote will not turn the fire up but intermittently, it will turn it down.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote was found to be transmitting as per normal.
The receiver was found to not respond to up channel.
Unfortunately when opening the receiver, the battery block was found to have signs of a battery leak (see image).
Once these items suffer a battery leak a repair cannot be carried out. Replacement receivers can be found on eBay.
