Customer's Fault Description
Left batteries in remote which leaked & no longer works with new batteries . Fire doesn’t work without the remote
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Valor Electric Fire remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be functioning as normal on al buttons.
One of the terminal pairs was found to have rusted and also the buttons would sometimes stick within the case which could potentially cause issues.
After talking to the customer, it was decided to service the remote fully.
The rusted terminal pair was replaced and then conductive pads fitted under all buttons to stop the sticking issue.
