Customer's Fault Description
Even though I replaced the batteries, this remote is not turning on and off the fan or light

This Gutmann remote arrived safely and on testing was found to have two non functioning buttons (the fan up and down buttons)
When opened there was signs of contamination over the print, this was cleaned up and unfortunately corrosion was found within the bouble layered / double sided print. An attempt was carried out to bridge any visible open circuits by it did not rectify the issue. Due to the damage a repair is not possible.
