Mertik Maxitrol Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Will not adjust the temperature
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote control arrived safely and on inspection the case was damaged / held together using tape and the battery cover was missing.
On testing the remote was found to be transmitting on both the up and down channel as per normal with our test receiver.
The customer is to check the receiver in the heater itself as this may be the issue.
This item has been classed as no fault found.
