Customer's Fault Description
You have repaired this before Xmas. Thank you. Of all things some water was spilt and must have entered the display and is now fragmented and doesn’t work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to have an erroneous display.

When opened there was a large amount of corrosion under the display (see image).

A replacement PCB was found from a scrap remote that when fitted restored full functionality.
