Remote Fixer Repair Response
These remotes arrived safely and on testing one was totally dead and the other was not transmitting when the actuator button was pressed.
The remote wit hthe faulty button was foudn to have been worked on previously but an important solder point was missed. The button was soldered correctly and the traces reworked which restored full functionality.
The second remote when opened was found to have a badly damaged charge input cable and the battery was totally dead. The cable was bypassed and the battery charged fully but sadly the remote remained dead. After a limited component test was carried out the remote was deemed beyond repair (we have no schematic information for these remotes)
