Customer's Fault Description
Just stoppped working, replaced the battery and nothing. The back battery door was melted by us a few years ago but the remote was working fine, just the battery lead was hanging out the opening. It then just stopped working so I think some wiring is loose.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection was found to be missing its battery cover and the back is deformed from melting. Replacement cases are not available as spares which is why we dont repair cosmetic damage.
On testing the remote was confirmed to be dead. This was due to a faulty battery cable. Once a replacement cable was fitted full functionality was restored (see image)
