Gazco / Copreci MMB22600 / UCMB22600 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Remote functionality stopped working previously but fire still worked with manual operation (remote or receiver could be that issue). The fire is now not working - the batteries are causing continued ignition sparking and I have also seen sparking on the receiver board, suggesting a component failure and/or short circuit and the fire doesn't start now.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote was found to be functioning as per normal on each button press with a strong RF signal being present.

We cannot diagnose the receiver as we do not repair them, nor do we have the test equipment for powering / testing them.  We only repair remote controls.

As the remote is working as normal this item has been classed as no fault found with the handset.
