Not functioning at all, power issue

This brake testing machine remote control arrived safely and on inspection was found to have a damaged battery cable and was dead.

The battery cable was replaced but the remote remained dead.

A component test was carried out and unfortunately the traces in the button facia were found to have internal corrosion.  These facias are not available as spare making a repair not possible.
