Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Under counter tv remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be intermittent.  The battery cover was also found to be missing.

The issue was caused by the IC breaking away from the PCB.  This was soldered firmly back into position which restored full functionality.

A replacement battery cover was fitted as a spare was found on a scrap remote.
