Mertik Maxitrol G30 ZRRS Repair

Functions very intermittently and handset needs to be held very close to receiver. Silver dish in transducer appears to have become dislodged. Also, left hand button on remote (which needs to be pressed at some time as UP control) makes poor contact. Not sure whether this can be sorted at same time. If not, don't worry, it is useable at the moment.

Valor electric fire Repair

Remote no longer has any effect on the fire -I have tried new batteries. Replacement remotes are no longer available so am enquiring if you can repair. Manual controls on the fire do work but are in an awkward place

Remote(s) are not working, I have tried the infra red check with a camera and there is no indication that a signal is being sent. The batteries have been exchanged for a fresh set and again there is no signal. All buttons were fully functioning prior to this.

The remote doesn't power on. The display never lights up. The remote doesn't control the audio system. I took it apart and did not see corrosion nor visible breaks in solder connections. The batteries used during testing were fully charged.

Electric Heater Repair

The remote for my electric fire has stopped working. I've changed the batteries twice, but still not working. No buttons work. There's no manufacturer name on the fire, only a label with the model number. <br /> Model: TF-1521ERA <br /> I suspect it came as part of the fireplace, but I ripped it out 6 years ago when I moved in, but kept the fire and plug it in every winter. It's worked fine for the past 6 years. <br /> I googled the model name, but nothing relevant came up, except a model with a similar name, but when I checked online, the fire and remote are totally different. It was Phantasy TF-1561ERA. So I thought "Phantasy" might be the brand, but can't find anything with my model number, so I've no idea.
