Bose RC-X35L Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : The remote doesn't power on. The display never lights up. The remote doesn't control the audio system. I took it apart and did not see corrosion nor visible breaks in solder connections. The batteries used during testing were fully charged.

This Remote Control for a Bose Audio System arrived safely from the United States and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
This was due to a cracked SMD resistor. Once replaced full functionality was restored.
