Customer's Fault Description
Remote no longer has any effect on the fire -I have tried new batteries. Replacement remotes are no longer available so am enquiring if you can repair. Manual controls on the fire do work but are in an awkward place
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This flame effect electric fire remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting on each button press as per normal operation. The code being transmitted was confirmed to be correct and consistent.
Batteries will be supplied fitted on return to eliminate the possibility of the customers batteries being an issue, if the item still does not affect the heater, then the receiver in the heater may be at fault (manual controls are not a signal that the receiver is working).
