Customer's Fault Description
Remote(s) are not working, I have tried the infra red check with a camera and there is no indication that a signal is being sent. The batteries have been exchanged for a fresh set and again there is no signal. All buttons were fully functioning prior to this.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

These two Quad remote controls arrived safely and on inspection both were missing their battery covers.

On testing both were dead.

Both were found to have suffered the same issue whereby the IR LED was faulty in both, caused by dry solder joints, the LEDs were replaced and the solder reworked.  Full functionality was restored to both controllers.
