Customer's Fault Description
Initially ON/Off function stopped but could still use the heat control part providing fire was turned on manually. Now all functions have stopped working, tried a few sets of batteries.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Electric fire remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.
The IR led and oscillator was replaced but the issue remained. Unfortunately the issue is with the main IC which is situated under a blob of blakc resin which makes a repair not possible.
