Customer's Fault Description
Remote control not reading room temperature. Temperature reads - - all other functions work as normal (suspect faulty thermocouple??)
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have no temperature display.  The thermocouple was replaced but the issue remained.  It was found that there was contamination shorting out parts of the PCB underneath the display.  The PCB was soaked in alcohol which restored functionality (see image)
