Adjustamatic Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Adjustamatic

Customers Fault Description : Chair would not switch on using remote. When you press the power on button on the remote their is a click at the transformer but the green light on remote does not light. I have tried a different remote on the chair and it works fine. The green light comes on and all functions of the chair work as they should

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote arrived safely.  On opening a limited component and cable test was carried out but no issue could be found.  The button contacts did have some contamination from the pads decomposing but this is not thought to have caused an issue (the PCB was cleaned of all contaminants just in case).

If the issue persists it may be that the main IC (see image) is at fault which would render a repair not possible.

It is first recommended to reset the remote using the microswitch accessible by the small hole in the back of the remote, use a wooden toothpick to press the button for a few seconds when connected to the chair.
