Charlton & Jenrick Repair

This may have been dropped. It has been temperamental for a while, only working when you squeeze the batteries in, but now you are lucky if you can get the remote control screen to switch on at all and it doesnt stay on long enough to operate the fire. Manufacturer doesn't make them any more (and the fireplace itself doesn't have a mechanism to switch it on and off) so if it can't be fixed it will mean a whole new fireplace.

There seems to be a contact fault where the remote after a few seconds seems to turn off. When you mess with the batteries it comes back on for a few seconds but then goes off again. Chair would not switch on using remote. When you press the power on button on the remote their is a click at the transformer but the green light on remote does not light. I have tried a different remote on the chair and it works fine. The green light comes on and all functions of the chair work as they should

Not powering on. It did and worked fine until recently, but only sporadically. I suspect the rusty battery connection coil may be to blame.

1. Low voltage connection plug come loose again 2. Remote for above was not shutting down and continuously making a noise ( batteries drain quickly)
