Customers Fault Description : I believe there is battery leakage in the battery compartment which had started to corrode.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This window remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead due to a missing battery terminal.

The terminal was replaced which restored full functionality. (see image)
