There seems to be a contact fault where the remote after a few seconds seems to turn off. When you mess with the batteries it comes back on for a few seconds but then goes off again. We cannot get the power to hold and stay active.

This Gas Fire remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be functioning as normal.
It's important to note that this remote requires to be activated by holding it in a grip position and squeezing the sides of the remote.
