Mertik G30-ZRHT Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : The UP button isn't working. No light on the receiver when holding the UP button. As this is a fireplace remote/receiver, I need to be able to hold the button 5 to 10 seconds to start the fireplace. The DOWN button is working fine.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Fireplace remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote was found to not transmit on the up channel.
The 40.5khz oscillator was replaced which restored full functionality.
Luckily No fault was found with the receiver as we do not repair receivers.
The total price as per our sites fixed price policy is £20 plus postage (£35 in total) - all items are return by Tracked methods to reduce the risk of loss or damage!
