Customer's Fault Description
There is some battery charge in the device and so it is working for the moment (i've been using it with the golf trolley). Although when I plugged in the charger today, the charging light didn't come on. I suspect there is an issue with the charging port.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely and on testing weas found to have intermittent charging.  This was due to a damaged charge port, a replacement restored full functionality.
