Remote will not activate TV at all, tried new batteries.

This TV remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting on every button as per normal.  The controller was opened to check for defects but no issue could be found / replicated.

The codeset being transmitted on each button was then confirmed to be correct and consistent for this model.

This item has been classed as no fault found, and the issue is most likely with the receiver / TV itself.
