doesn't control the plinth heater and I can't switch the heater without the control device
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Winterwarm remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.  On inspection the battery terminals had signs of corrosion from a battery leak (see  image).  This corrosion was causing a high resistance to the battery meaning that no power was getting to the main board.

The battery terminal was replaced which restored full functionality.
