LG Repair
Spilt tea on it. Initially a lot of buttons fitted without being pressed. I put it on a stock full of rice and now most buttons work except the left and right buttons and some of the other buttons around the pin wheel. The on off button should light up red when any button is pressed, so it's easy to tell which ones don't work

Mertik Maxitrol G30-ZRHSO Repair
I dropped the remote control on the floor recently and it just stopped working. I changed all of the batteries in the remote and also the receiver but to no avail. However, if I place the remote control right next to the receiver and press the buttons it does work the gas fire which suggests to me that the range of the signal produced by the remote has been lessened due to internal damage - maybe the transmitter?

Firmadoor Repair
The remote casing has been melted slightly from one corner and the button is cracked. Works occasionaly if you keep pushing the button and shake the remote and the ref l.e.d comes on. Most of time it doesn't work but if you shake the remote and try again it may work. I would be interested if you could clone the remote so I have an additional spare one.

Becker Centronic SunWindControl SWC441 Repair
Retract button - bottom of the three middle buttons is not working - not getting a 'click' like with the other buttons and no solid green LED is showing when pressed - it is on the top two buttons. Batteries are new. Think it is the button unit on the PCB that is faulty/stuck/broken. Should light a solid green on the LED (top left of remote) when pressed.
