THE REMOTE NOT WORKING.
*PLEASE NOTE THE OUTER CASING IS SLIGHTLY BENT AND OUT OF SHAPE BUT HAS BEEN LIKE IT FOR OVER 3 YEARS AND STILL WORKED.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace control arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was missing (this cannot be replaced). On testing the control was found to be transmitting as per normal operation. The remote was tested over a 2 day period with no issues recorded.
It is possible the problem is with the receiver itself, the customer is to check the batteries in the receiver block and also checking to see if a battery leak has occurred in the receiver by checking for foreign contamination over the terminals.
THIS ITEM WAS SCRAPPED AS PER OUR TERMS 29TH SEPT 2021
