Customer's Fault Description
I dropped the remote control on the floor recently and it just stopped working. I changed all of the batteries in the remote and also the receiver but to no avail. However, if I place the remote control right next to the receiver and press the buttons it does work the gas fire which suggests to me that the range of the signal produced by the remote has been lessened due to internal damage - maybe the transmitter?
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Gazco controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be transmitting a signal.

This was due to a faulty transducer, this was replaced which restored full functionality.
