Customer's Fault Description
Hi, I spoke to you not so long ago about this remote and you said it was a common issue with these remotes.

1. The battery is always flashing.
2. In the background the screen flickers.
3. The connector wire to the battery snapped, I used some tape to join it temporarily but really could do with replacing (I've added the replacement wire) or at least soldering back on.
4. Inside a metal connector came off the circuit board, I did a quick fix by soldering it back on but feel its come off again because the remotes stopped working again.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fire controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have a faulty battery level indicator. This was due to the 7133 regulator being faulty. A replacement was fitted as well as a new battery lead fitted and the aerial was disconnected at one end. The aerial (black wire) is only connected at one end.
Full functionality was restored.
