Customer's Fault Description
Remote control no longer able to turn down fire output/switch off to pilot light as before. Still able to turn on fire using remote and holding up button will increase output however down button not working.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to transmit a signal on the down button.  This was due to a faulty 40khz oscillator, this was replaced which restored full functionality.
