Customer's Fault Description
Piece broke of inside. I have paced it in some plastic tape and posted it with the remote.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace controller arrived safely from the Netherlands and on inspection he remote was apart and a component was taped up that had fallen off the board.
A closer inspection revealed that in fact 6 components have fallen off the board that were missing and also a coil had become damaged. This sort of damage can happen when dropped from a great height or when something is poked inside it to open it. All components were replaced which brought the remote to life but the buttons had very poor response with the power button not responding at all.
Due to this a repair is not possible.
